The results of all federal popular votes since 1866, for Switzerland and each canton, and since 1960 also for each municipality. Linked to the item of business in Parliament that a proposal came from.

Method and citation

Two FSO sources: from 1981 the real-time data (VoteInfo), before that the historical series from STAT-TAB.
Older municipal results are given for today's municipal boundaries; for Aargau, Fribourg and Ticino they are available only from 7 February 1971.
The cantonal figures are authoritative; the sum of the municipalities may differ slightly.
The majority of the cantons is recorded from 1981. Provisional means: counted, but not yet validated by the Federal Council.
The link to the item of business in Parliament comes from Swissvotes and is complete from 1996.
